SEWE 2009 a Success

The Southeastern Wildlife Exhibition was a terrific event. We were able to meet so many new folks and to make some new customers as well. I wanted to say "thank you" to the many folks that took time to stop by and welcome us to the show and to check out the fine Maremmano products. There were so many asking where they could find these products after the show. It seems the folks at the show, much like ourselves, truly recognize quality and value when they see it.

As primarily an importer/distributor, this was a rare occasion for us to meet real customers and see the reactions to the products. We look forward to working with your local dealers in the Carolinas in helping them provide you with our fine line of products.

We look forward to serving you all.

Thanks,

Patrick

SHOT Show 2009 follow-up

Well, it was another good SHOT Show. We enjoyed meeting you and sharing some new products with you again.
Our guys over in Italy are always surprising us with the new designs. This year we have an additional color to our successful cotton moleskin shirt offering and have also introduced 2 new sportcoats with a removable vest enclosure. These are SHARP jackets. The guy on the left (that's me!) is wearing one of them. The quality is unmatched and a lot of folks coming by were impressed just as we were.

The fellow on the right is Duane Clark, he is sporting our canvas Roma sportcoat, a very rugged, but stylish jacket.

If you ran out of time at the show to see us, give us a call or send us an email and we'll be happy to get you some information and hopefully learn more about your needs.

Also, I am looking into getting some videos up from the show so that we can get you an even better look at some of the products.

Have a great year and thanks again!

SHOT Show 2009

It won't be long now. Most of us are putting the final touches on our show preparations. Where is the hotel again? What time is my flight? What vendors do I need to see?

Well, you need to see us, of course. Why? Well, that is a good question and I hope I can answer it for you.

To Show Value
Our strategy is a bit different and so are our goals. We started Fleming & Clark back in 2006 with the goal of providing quality products that we would not only like and use ourselves, but at a price that offered real value. While our products might appear expensive to some, to those in the know, they represent a genuine value. We challenge you to find products with the same quality, natural materials that are made in Italy at a price even close to what we offer. We haven't seen it done anywhere else.

To Offer An Alternative to the Same Old Thing
In our market, there are arguably 2-3 competitors. An English company, an American company, and an Italian company who makes most of their US-offered products in Asia. Given this, we believe that offering true Italian-made and designed products provides the consumer a new choice and with a level of styling and design previously unavailable. Given the additional pressure on retailers this year, we believe that setting yourself apart from the crowd will offer differentiation and create interest. You will not be offering a “me-too” product. Customers will be getting heirloom quality field gear in the classic European tradition. At the same time, the products speak for themselves and need no explanation. You merely have the enjoyable task of pointing out the quality and features that make the products unique and a good value.

Well, there are two good reasons to chew on. Stop by the Fleming & Clark booth to come up with your own. We look forward to seeing you there!

A New Hand Made Maremmano Online Dealer is Launched

After much anticipation, Old Shell Supply House launches (http://www.oldshellsupplyhouse.com/).

They will carry a good selection of the Hand Made Maremmano line to serve you this season and through the Christmas holiday. We welcome OSSH in serving Fleming & Clark and Handmade Maremmano customers as there are many folks out there who see our ads or visit our web site, but do not have a local dealer. Check them out and let them serve you.

The Season has begun...

Well, things are getting busy for all of us in the trade. We are shipping and you are receiving. Customers are looking for new gear and planning hunting trips.

It's a lot of work and a lot of fun at the same time. This is why we do it. We love the products, we love the folks we meet, and we love helping hunters look and feel their best with quality gear.

You may have noticed some slight changes to our site. We've just added an "In the News" section to the site. Here is where we will be adding noteworthy mentions of the products and company. I've started it off by referencing the spot in Shooting Sportsman magazine and soon we'll include a mention from Sporting Classics magazine. We are honored that such distinguished publications have chosen to include us in their magazines and to share us with their readers.

All the best and until next time,

Patrick

Online Ordering, our flagship coat, and other thoughts...

Home

Well, we are continuing to spread quality throughout this lovely land of ours and wanted to take a moment to highlight our list of dealers. If there is one near you, drop in and inquire about the Hand Made Maremmano products and see for yourself what we've been talking about.

Not only can you walk into a store, but if you don't see a location near you, please visit our online dealers http://www.oldshellsupplyhouse.com/ and http://www.classicusc.com/ as well. They are sure to offer you a high-level of service.

Old Shell Supply House is a new retailer, but will be stocking a large line of the Hand Made Maremmano line and is due to launch in early August (wish our friend and web designer extraordinaire Bill Rodgers luck). Right now, both Old Shell Supply House and Classic Upland Supply Company are taking pre-orders for the Tuscan Hills coat. If you've gotten your July/August issue of Shooting Sportsman you can find a nice write up on our flagship coat. It is truly a masterpiece in classic field wear.

More to come...
